Green day in ‘t Zand

Green day in ’t Zand 2026 | Saturday 7 November, 2026

Making our neighbourhood greener and more biodiverse is something neighbourhood association Zandbewoners works on often. That’s why we organise two activities a year in our neighbourhood that are all about brining more green to ‘t Zand. the Green day is one of these activities, and this year is our third edition of this day!

Last year, we planted new greenery in the Maijweg, bound rose bushes at Sint Luciaplein and maintaining façade gardens around the Zayaz flat in the Boschveldweg and Peelandstraat, among other things. This year, we will once again work hard to make our neighbhourhood a greener place!
