National Cleanup Day

National Cleanup Day in ‘t Zand 2026 | Saturday 21 March, 2026

During the National Cleanup Day on the 21st of March, clean up activities will be organised all throughout the country, including ‘t Zand. Everyone who wants to, can join us on this day to clean up litter from the streets of our neighbourhood. Will you join us?

We will gather at 10h30 at Emmaplein and the Maijweg. In the signup form you can indicate from which place you want to join. Zandbewoners will provide grabbers, garbage bag holders, vests, gloves and garbage bags. You can also bring your own materials if you have them.

After picking up the litter, all volunteers are welcome for coffee/tea and a snack at De Gouwe Sleutel. Children are also welcome at this activity, so you can join with the whole family! You can sign up until Thursday March 19th
