3rd edition ’t Zandcafé

‘t Zandcafé about skating culture in ‘t Zand | Thursday 26 February, 2026

‘t Zandcafé is a neighbourhood gathering about themes in ‘t Zand, organised by neighbourhood association Zandbewoners. This third edition is all about the World Skate Center (WSC) in t’ Zand.

Discover how Den Bosch grew from a city with a skating ban, to the World Skate Center, where the Olympic group now trains. See this and more with your own eyes during ‘t Zandcafé. Take a tour through the WSC, look at demonstrations and view the documentary KICK/PUSH by Pascal Vugts and Casper Herselman, about the rise of skating in Den Bosch.

The World Skate Center has more to offer than just a skating hall. It is thé location for sports and music lovers. Besides skate nights, there are also jam sessions, concerts and club nights that are organised here. The WSC is a lively place in our neighbourhood, and we will experience it together!

During the gathering, pictures and videos will be taken for a recap and the promotion of future activities. If you don’t want to be photographed or filmed, you can let someone from the organisation know at arrival. Then we will keep this in mind.

Coffee and tea are free during this evening, other drinks you can buy at the bar.
