4th edition of 't Zandcafé

‘t Zandcafé outside cinema with videos from ‘t Zand | Saturday 29 August, 2026

Zandcafé isa neighbourhood gathering focused on themes and issues affecting ’t Zand, organised by the Zandbewoners Neighbourhood Association. In this fourth edition, we are organising an open-air cinema in the garden at OMNII, featuring short films about ’t Zand.

With a unique collection of professional and amateur footage, we’ll delve together into the (social) history of ’t Zand. This footage, captured by local residents and others with a connection to the neighbourhood, tells stories about events and places that have shaped the neighbourhood.

Filmmakers, residents and other contributors will share the stories behind the footage. A celebration of shared memories and new discoveries for everyone who lives, works or visits the ’t Zand neighbourhood regularly.

Important information:
You can sign up multiple people at the same time in the sign-up form.

During the gathering, pictures and videos will be taken for a recap and the promotion of future activities. If you don’t want to be photographed or filmed, you can let someone from the organisation know upon arrival. Then we will keep this in mind.

Drinks are free during the evening but alcohol is not allowed at this location.
