Every 2nd Saturday and every 3rd Sunday of the month, the Zandlopers gather. We then pick up litter from the streets of our beautiful neighbourhood for one hour. In June we celebrated the 3rd birthday of the Zandbewoners!

What?
On Saturday 8 and Sunday 16 June, the Zandlopers celebrated their 3rd birthday. In June 2021, the first group of volunteers went to pick up litter on Sint Luciaplein, under the name Zandlopers. This was part of a volunteer day organised by the Zandbewoners neighbourhood association. Since then, the Zandlopers have been walking through ‘t Zand Noord every month, starting from Emmaplein, to pick up litter. A year later, the Zandlopers in ‘t Zand Zuid joined them.
After the usual rounds of the Zandlopers, there was something to eat and drink for the volunteers, accompanied by pleasant conversation.
