Neighbourhood association Zandbewoners teamed up with housing association Zayaz to set up facade gardens. These were planted around a Zayaz flat on Boschveldweg, in Peellandstraat and the car park behind it.

What?
Residents of a Zayaz flat worked hard to plant facade gardens and make our neighbourhood greener. On Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 December, the gardens were dug out, and concrete edges were placed around them by contractors Terrein en Groenvoorziening, on behalf of Zayaz.
On Saturday 21 December, we planted over 200 new plants in these gardens, together with residents and Zayaz employees. Residents of the flat will maintain the greenery around the flat themselves, with help from Zandbewoners.
