This annual neighbourhood calendar aims to connect residents with our neighbourhood. It informs them about our activities, events and newsletters for the coming year. We also highlight the culture and history that make the ‘t Zand neighbourhood unique.
Who?
A little over 200 residents ordered and received a physical calendar
Almost 40 volunteers total were involved in the development, production, promotion and distribution of the Zandkalender.

From August until December 2024, from concept development up until distributing the finished product.
What?
12 artists who live and/or work in neighbourhood ‘t Zand collaborated on the second edition of the Zandkalender. This unique monthly calendar consists of 12 images of artworks and a convenient monthly overview with public holidays and neighbourhood activities.
On Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 December, over 150 residents picked up their Zandkalenders at the Melkfabriek and OMNII. Many people stayed for a chat and a cup of coffee, tea, or a glass of Glühwein. The other calendars were delivered to people’s homes on their request.
The 2025 edition of the Zandkalender was made over a period of 5 months, and distributed with the help of over 40 people, most of which were volunteers! All artists and photographers made their work available for use and publication for free.
