World Cleanup Day <\/strong>| Sunday 20 September, 2026<\/p>\n\n

World Cleanup Day<\/strong> is a day when clean up activities are organised all over the world. In ‘t Zand we also participate. We will pick up litter from the streets of our neighbourhood. Will you walk with us? <\/p>\n\n

Every month, neighbourhood association Zandbewoners organises 2 activities to collect litter, known as Zandlopers. During the World Cleanup Day, we will combine both of these activities and walk through the streets of \u2018t Zand together with our regular and new volunteers. If you wish to join us, take a look at our Zandlopers page<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

You can join in from Emmaplein <\/strong>in ‘t Zand north and the Melkfabriek <\/strong>in ‘t Zand south. Zandbewoners will provide <\/p>\n\n

grabbers, carrying rings, vests, gloves and bin bags. You can also bring your own equipment if you have it. <\/p>\n\n

After picking up litter, all participants are welcome at Tokyo Ramen<\/strong>. Here, we\u2019ll have a drink and free snacks together as a thank you for everyone who helped. Children are also welcome to join in this activity, so feel free to bring the whole family! <\/p>\n\n

Zandbewoners will categorise all sign up participants based on their preferences. If you do not have any preferences, the association will assign you to where your help is needed most. <\/p>\n\n

After signing up, you will receive an automatic email confirmation. Five days before the activity, you will receive an email reminder and weather forecast. All activities take place outdoors, and if heavy rain is forecast, we will inform you via email of any changes to the programme. <\/p>\n\n

You can sign up multiple people at once using the same sign up form. The preferences you specify will apply to everyone in your sign up form. <\/p>\n\n

If you have any questions or would like to add something to your sign up, you can always email, call, text, or WhatsApp us. If you have not received an email after signing up, even in your spam folder, please contact us. <\/p>\n\n
