\u2019t Zand is located between the Dommel and Dieze rivers and the railway tracks running through Central Station. The neighbourhood has more than 2,500 residents with different backgrounds, lifestyles, ages, income levels and religions. It consists of tenants, homeowners, squatters, refugees, entrepreneurs, students, homeless, artists and many others who call \u2019t Zand home.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently there are more than 100 different types of companies and cultural organisations located in our neighbourhood. These range from family businesses, such as Jan de Groot, to institutions such as the Verkadefabriek, the San Damiano monastery, the Tramkade, Essent and everything in between. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 1890, people have been making \u2019t Zand the vibrant neighbourhood that it is today And for almost 50 years the Zandbewoners (previously known as the resident association \u2019t Zand) has been connecting residents, companies and organisations, with each other and the neighbourhood. Our goal is a safe, clean and greener neighbourhood!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
